Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the trail I received these from Marmot to put to the test, as I volunteer for Search and Rescue - and they are the perfect base layer tight! I'm a smaller-frame (size 0-2, 5'1") woman, and typically length is an issue with base layers and bottoms. No problem here, as they were fitted perfectly to my ankle. I recently wore them on a multiple-night trip in the CO backcountry, and they stayed dry and kept me warm. Night time temperatures got down to about 30F, and I stayed well-regulated with these underneath my pants. They were so comfortable, I kept them on in the morning, and wore them by themselves for an a.m. hike. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm in New England. I just get really cold, so I bought it with the intention of not just wearing it as an underlayer, but also as lounge wear. I feel that it works. As for sizing, I have learned that in marmot clothing I am an extra small. Most bottoms I am a medium in other clothing-- I wear 25-27 jeans and am roughly 115 pounds, 5'5, with a rectangular figure. If you do not have a butt, much of the tighter Marmot bottoms will fit awkwardly unless they are small enough. Knowing this, I ordered the smallest size, and it fits perfect compared to a small I bought once. I hope this helps someone! And no, it is not too tight on the waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Baselayer I own 2 pairs of these tights, and they're a life-saver during cold Iowa winters. Whether I'm doing activities outside or just wearing them under my jeans, they're a very comfortable, practical, and keep my legs warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality not the same I ordered this online for a ski trip to Montana. I wa shocked that it was of such poor quality, thin and itchy, not soft. It felt like it would fall apart after one wear. The waist band was cheap and hard as meant for equipment not clothing let alone undergarment. I'm finding Marmots quality has declined.
