Rated 5 out of 5 by Pat321 from Fabulous Sol Jacket! I purchased this Marmot Sol Jacket last month in Park City, Utah, and I am so happy that I did. It is very light weight, stylish in the silver color which I chose, and most importantly, it is incredibly warm for its being so thin. I am extremely happy with this purchase for it far exceeded my expectations!

Rated 4 out of 5 by alegria7 from Absolutely perfect! But holds smell... I bought the Marmot Sol Down Jacket about a month and a half ago and it layers perfectly under my rain coat/outer shell. It's kept me warm under a windproof jacket down to 15°F when I'm moving. Super packable as well! Love it except it does hold a smell if you build up a sweat. Marmot, do you have any suggestions on how to treat this? I suppose I'll try washing it per the instructions, but I really hate washing down, especially since I haven't worn it that much. Otherwise a fantastic down jacket and highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by joejitsu from remarkable warmth, style and light weight purchased for my girlfriend - I cant get it out of her hands...very warm for its lo bulk and light weight - very fashionable profile - flattering where other warm jackets are bulky - the long verticel line on the elongated waffle patter is subtly feminine. fits tru to size. Now I need a shell that it can zip into....anyone have details on that possibility?

Rated 5 out of 5 by noreen2014 from great gift choice I purchased this jacket for my wofe who hates wearing jackets. After wearing she loved the way it fit and how light it felt, while at the same time keeping her very warm. She was so impressed im looking forward to my first purchase of my mens marmot Jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by exquisitektc from Light-weight, thin, bright, warm, comfy! I purchased this light-weight jacket for late winter/early spring and it has been perfect for my Washington, DC needs. Winter has been warm (about 30ish) in this city and my 700 down North Face was too heavy and too thick, which is why I searched for a light-weight. Even though this jacket is thin, and is more like a down sweater, it provides enormous warmth while still being light enough to ball up when the sun decides to come out. So happy with this purchase. The quality is great--stitching is straight and tight, material withstands some rain and snow, seems very durable. The zippered pockets are a good (my husband's Ajax doesn't have zippers) and I wish it had a Napoleon pocket or sleeve pocket on the outside, but oh well. Overall, very happy with this and definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kate from Love this I've been so happy with this jacket and get lots of compliments on it. However I made the mistake of throwing it on fresh out of a hot yoga class and it's holding onto the sweat smell. I'm always nervous about machine washing these types of items, does anyone know how well that works, or an alternative suggestion?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Xochyl from Avoid light colors if you have oily skin I bought the platinum color and wore this once, it picked up the powder makeup I wear and all along the collar wear it touched my skin it absorbed the oil and got discolored. I don't wear much makeup and shower everyday so really wasn't expecting to act like an oil absorbing sheet. Given that it's down this is pretty problematic from a laundering point of view, it also make me concerned that it is probably not very water repellent since it is clearly very absorbent. It was very warm and fit well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KM0127 from Marmot Women's SOL Jacket I saw my daughter's jacket and fell in love with the style and color. I chose the Platnium color. I'm small framed. I got the size small. Fits true. Not snug but not baggy.
