Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I bought this jacket for backcountry and Nordic skiing and have used it for both. It is awesome!! It weighs next to nothing and really does breathe while keeping me warm. I used it recently skate ski on a day when heavy, wet snow was flying and, though I got pretty wet, I stayed warm. The hood has also come in handy on cold, windy descents. The fit is nice - fitted but not so much that I can't get a few layers on underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!! I just got the Isotherm Hoody about a month ago, and I'm in love with it. Not only is it super comfortable, but it so lightweight! I often use the Isotherm as a mid layer when skiing. Generally, I run pretty cold, but the Isotherm has kept me really warm. I have also used it as an outer layer when ski touring in the backcountry on some chilly, windy days. Usually when skinning I start off cold, but soon my body starts to warm up and while I don't want to be cold, I hate overheating during a workout. What has been so great about the Isotherm is that it keeps me warm to start, but as I exert myself more I am able to maintain a comfortable body temperature as the Isotherm breathes so well, while still keeping the wind out. A lot of times I also end up wearing my Isotherm around town just to do errands. Love this hoody, could wear it all the time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect "Tweener" What's a "Tweener"? It's the Isotherm Hoody! This lightweight puffy is my go to jacket between seasons. When winter just doesn't want to release it's grip but daytime temps can climb well above freezing (for example Colorado spring), this jacket offers both warmth and super packability when it goes in the pack. I've worn it in downpours and it dries incredibly quick. It breathes well but the wind doesn't find it's way through it. The perfect spring of fall insulating piece. I also refer to it as a "Tweener" because it goes between my inner layers and softshell jacket all winter long. Perfect on those cold winter days belaying my ice partner and standing around teaching in the Ouray Ice Park. I never leave home without it, winter, spring, fall and even brisk summer days in the mountains. It looks great, feels great on and packs down to nothing in a pack. At 14.7oz, there's no reason to leave it at home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite winter cardio piece I was skeptical about the jacket's ability to be warm due to the weight and thickness. After multiple runs, nordic ski days and backcountry touring, I swear by it. Buying one for my fiance.
