Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket/Coat I like the quality and style of this Jacket. It is warm, light and soft. Though I have owned it for just a couple of weeks, I have used it in different occasions and environments.   I have combined this jacket with a Marmot Reactor Fleece in -16 Celsius (approx 3 Fahrenheit) during this winter in Finland, the combination kept me warm and light. I have also used it at around 0 Celsius (approx 32 Fahrenheit)  with sleet and wind and just a shirt underneath and I was comfortably warm and dry.  When the wind and sleet came, I was glad the jacket had a hood. The only thing I wish is that there were more colours available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb waterproof warm jacket If you are looking for a great city, cold rain season jacket and you are not a fan of flashy colors, super-sized logos, in your face neon zippers - look no further. Marmot designers should be commended for creating practical, functional, modest clothing for the likes of us.  Everything about this jacket spells thoughtful design - the adjustable velcro sleeves, closed off pockets both outside and inside, roomy pockets, removable hood, two-way zipper with evenly spaced buttons all the way down (yes, the last button is at the very tip of the jacket to prevent any wind flapping). It is washable, dries instantly (super important for public transportation), very light and foldable.   Already thinking about the second jacket, just in case Marmot decides to discontinue this one :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weather fortress With its high collar and deep hood, the coat is a weather fortress against wind, rain and snow.  It is not a warm coat under 25 degrees or so but I bought a size larger to fit suit jackets or some other insulation layer.  I found it to be better than the competition in the heavy duty trench coat category.  Very well made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but not for tall skinny people I love this jacket but I'm too tall for the medium and too skinny for the large. I'm 6'4" and 160 lbs. The torso of the medium was good but the sleeves, shoulders and hood were too small. The shoulders of the large were good, the sleeves were okay but the torso was too large for me. The large would be good if I was going to wear it over a suit jacket but I've never needed to wear a suit in the winter.  I love the quality of this jacket and I would love it if Marmot would make jackets for tall and slim people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well fitting, well designed coat I particularly like that the coat is not bulky but remains warm. My wife, who rarely mentions my clothing, found it unusually flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch I love the style and protection from the elements this jacket provides.  I got the slate grey and it goes great with business casual. Protects me from the sleet snow and wind Chicago dishes out, and having a coat that covers your butt makes a huge difference. I'm 6'2 200lbs and got the large, fits good. Good form marmot, good form
