Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality, with a price tag to match. I purchased this bag on sale last year, to use it for a four month, 1770 mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail, from the Mexican border to just past the Oregon Californian border. I dealt with nighttime temperatures ranging from above 40*F down to 20*F. The hotter nights warrented sleeping with the bag either fully unzipped, or worn like a quilt, but on the coldest nights I stayed warm and comfortable. I am 6 foot, 138lbs, and I am just short enough to fit the regular length. I found the bag spacious and lofty, especially the massive hood and draft collar, and the foot box, where despite my height, I still had room for my feet to relax. The best description would be that it feels very luxurious to sleep in. The bag itself is is highly compressible, and very lightweight given its warmth rating. The nylon face fabric has solid tear resistance, but is vunerable to punctures. On the PCT the abundance of cacti and thorned bushes requires you to be very careful if you choose to cowboy camp, or lay the bag out to dry. The water resistant down maintained its loft even when I spent a night cowboy camping near a lake at 9000 feet, waking up to a bag soaked with condensation, and encrusted with ice. The nylon has a DWR coating which helps keep the moisture beaded on the outside, but some will always get through. Overall, this is a fantastic bag. While my hiking partners, some of whom had bags rated to lower temperatures, suffered numerous cold nights, I managed to sleep quite comfortably. My only complaints is face fabric being vunerable to desert plants, and I personally wouldn't mind a half zip instead of a full zip to save a bit more weight.
