Rated 5 out of 5 by from This tent is awesome! I took This tent is awesome! I took it for a 7-day camping trip where we got lots of different weather. The first days were hot and humid. I left the fly off and caught whatever breeze there was through the fully mesh walls. Then we experienced two days of flooding. Most of the other campers got water in their tents during the middle of the night. Several campers packed up in the dark and left, or they slept in their cars. I got up to check the area, only to step into 3" of water all around my tent. But I had no water in the tent! In the morning I had some condensation, but overall, my stuff was dry. The tent is a little pricey, but I got a good deal on sale. I don't mind spending more for quality. I look forward to taking it backpacking next month. This 3-person is only slightly heavier than my 2-person and I like the extra room, especially if we are stuck in bad weather. I like that one door is taller, making it easier to get in and out. It's more difficult to put up than the two-pole tents, but I feel it is a lot sturdier in the wind. I love the color coding on the poles. Even if I'm technically challenged at times, I set it up with no trouble. It won't set up as quickly in the rain, which may be a problem. I may have to use the fly as a tarp in that case so the rain doesn't come though the mesh walls. I would buy this tent again.
