Outside Magazine 9/06 Super Hero Jacket

Do More With Less
Going outside, forecast be damned? Put on this windproof, water-resistant jacket and don’t look back. It’s made with a smart patchwork of Gore Windstopper fabrics and has a brushed lining to help insulate your core, while underarm swaths of knit polyester increase breathability. When I got caught in an intense hailstorm in Colorado, the roll-away (and detachable) hood easily shed the pellets, and the cinchable cuffs and hem sealed out drafts. Layering tip: The jacket performs best when paired with a light-weight base layer. By Sam Moulton
Adventure Travel 5/07-6/07 Super Hero Jacket

Great Jacket
The zonal construction of this jacket includes a super breathable armpit bit and extra durable sections on the shoulders, tops of arms and hips. It has a detachable stowaway hood with toggle adjustment and peak. The hem has a drawstring, inside the collar is snuggly and there are huge hand pockets, a chest pocket and a secret one on the inside.
Skiing November 2007 Super Hero Jacket

Skiing’s Best in Test
The Super Hero is our favorite for its clean, simple, athletic cut. Gore Windstopper transports moisture away from the body and deflects wind. Two enormous outside pockets are big enough for an extra set of gloves. Articulated armpits let you stretch your arms without the jacket or sleeves riding up.
