Thank you, for holding such a wonderful giveaway, I truly appreciate it! I am a 3 time cancer survivor (age 10, brain tumor[Menegeoma], age 21 Uterine Cancer [discovered when I was 6 months pregnant], age 36 skin cancer), as well as a 30% Service Connected Disabled Veteran (US Army 6 years). I am adopting my Husbands Boys that have been living with my Husband and I for 11 years, after my Husbands X stabbed him the in the stomach, in front of the boys. One needs a heart transplant (his heart is functioning at 30%, One is Bipolar, and one has post traumatic stress and Oppositional defiant disorder. I have tried to teach my kids, that nothing is so bad, that you can not over come it. Laughter goes a long way to making yourself, and those around you feel better. I refuse to go to bed angry, and I refuse to wake up angry. I try and make the most out of every day (including taking time to stop and smell the roses). I just turned 46, and have done so much...I lived in Europe, I sang in a band, I play Cello and Bass, I love my kids, I have a great Husband...and you know, I don't think I would have done so much if I had not had cancer. My personal philosophy about life reflects the Tim McGraw song “Live like you’re dying” P.S. Marmot is one of the only companys that is as tough as I am....

I've had the same Marmot fleece jacket (which is worn alone or zipped into my Solstice parka-type hooded jacket for a really dreadnought combo) for about 10 years and it's ready for another Northeast fall/winter this year...wears like iron. Best money I ever spent on gear.

Pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me. Now that I have that out of the way. I was actually attempting a circumnavigation of Florida in a kayak and twice had 50 to 60 mph winds. The second managed to kill our tent, thus ending our journey. I've tried many tents including Marmot (although it was not mine) and have found it to be one of, if not the, best tent around. I'm not sure why my partner opted for another brand although Marmot was highly recommended by many people including myself. Needless to say we will be (if I don't win) purchasing a Marmot for our next attempt (along with much other needed equipment that was destroyed.....pick me).

I just want to express the fact that the Ultima jacket that I bought recently will be the last jacket I ever buy. I can't get over the quality of this product. Due to the way it is built and constructed, it will simply keep me warm for the rest of my life.

I currently have two Marmot products: a Precip jacket and an original style Talus daypack. Both are excellent quality and have been used for a number of years.

The Precip has replaced my Patagonia Storm parka as my primary rain jacket. It is especially suitable as a lightweight and very packable travel shell.

I have used the Talus for years as my secondary carry-on travel bag... It holds my camera gear in a Lowepro Orion beltbag along with a MacBook Pro, a small compressible "messenger bag" from Baggallini and myriad other "essential" items.

I hope that Marmot will bring back a new version of the Talus; as far as I can tell there is currently nothing in your line-up that offers comparable features.

I love my Marmot Eiger 45 pack! It fits like a custom pack and has plenty of separate compartments that keep my gear organized. Thanks for a great product Marmot!

boy i really want to buy your products. but my wife wont let me spend money on stuff like this.

I own several Marmot products, including my favorite jacket ever - the Quantum. Unfortunately the zipper started separating out. I sent it in for repair, expecting a bill, but Marmot replaced the entire zipper for free. I was a loyal Marmot consumer. Now I'm a loyal Marmot advocate!!

» reply

I'm a Marmot believer. I own tents, jackets and gear from Marmot, and everything has been top quality, and has never let me down in the backcountry. There are some things I will skimp on or try less durable material to save weight or money, but for the things that I really depend on, there's no question that I can trust Marmot gear.

I recently purchased Aspen 40 degree bag .

can't wait to try it out .

Must admit that I slept downstairs in it the other night to give it a test run .

Very comfortable so far at about 50 degrees.

Looking forward to getting it up to the mountains early this spring.

Also really love how compact it is . No more tying it to my pack.
Just thow it inside without taking much space for other needed equipment.

I have owned several Marmot products over my years and I've participated on many hikes through California as an Eagle Scout. I just purchased 2 new bags for the wife and kid as well.

Keep up the great work!

Marmot is great rugged gear. I've used a sleeping bag of theirs for years and it is still great.

I bought my first Marmot product the Superhero jacket recently and have been completely satisfied. I have purchased North Face products in the past and looked there first to get a softshell. I tried on several softshells and could not find one I liked. I finally came across this jacket on a trip when left my jacket at home. It's a great buy, Thanks Marmot.
