M1
Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M1 shells provide the highest level of warmth and thermal protection. They are best for intermittent aerobic use in cold conditions.

Care Instructions
Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex® fabric products, MemBrain® fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

Great jacket- only complaint is that your mp3 player has to go in your chest pocket (I don't like keeping anything in there- not sure most women do...)

I bought one of these tcakejs (the collared one not the hooded), and wish I got the hooded one as I wear it almost all-year round. The exterior of it repels water as if it were meant to be a rain jacket and when I wear it on my motorcycle, it does a fantastic job of blocking the wind – while the interior is soft and warm, perfect for fall and spring. In the winter I just wear a fleece vest under it. I may have to pick up a hooded one in a different color.

I really like this jacket but I do not like the velcro at the cuff, or at the hoody.
