600 Fill Down

Certified 600 Fill Goose Down bags are constructed with the following features:

  • Nautilus Hood: the same construction as our 8000m jacket hood, a 3D hood that
wraps around your head and reduces heat loss.
  • Hood Muff: creates a warm down gasket around your face, keeping the drawcord
    away from the face.
  • Stretch Tricot Baffles: allow the bag to be stuffed and unstuffed without tearing the baffle material.
  • Trapezoid Foot box: matches the shape of your feet, wider in the toe area and narrower in the heels.
  • Down Fill Oversized Draft Tube: eliminates cold spots
  • Zipper guard: keeps the draft tube fabric from getting caught in the zipper
  • Ground Level Seams: top layer wraps fully around the body creating a warm layer of down.

Wm's Montreaux Coat Reviewed by Marmot Athlete Heather Paul

Sometimes it is nice to be able use a jacket that feels like a nice comfy sleeping bag. Now this is not the coat for a day of skiing or hiking but just about anything else outside in the winter where you want to stay warm. Here in Crested Butte, it can be the coldest place in the country and having a ¾ length down jacket is about the only way to stay warm. The length is perfect, it comes to just above my knee and my thighs are happy walking in the wind and cold. The fabric is soft and silky enough to slide over anything you are wearing. The fur and the whole hood are removable so depending on just how sassy you want to be, the jacket will fit the mood. The inner fleece cuffs around the sleep really serve to seal you right in the warmth of the jacket, no gaps. The pocket lining is heavenly! It provides comfortable movement, is not restrictive at all, which is so nice in a garment so big. Standing outside in the winter cold for extended lengths of time is no problem in the Montreaux, I’ve never been so warm. It offers extreme warmth and with the cute cuts, baffling and great choice of colors, it is also a flattering piece.

Loving it! It's really nice and it fits perfect! It shows my curves (I tried lots of jackets and I felt like a tomboy in those)... Very well designed! I would recommend it to anyone!
I generally wear size 6 .. and got this jacket in M.

I absolutely love this jacket! It is super warm without being overpuffy and stiff. I would recommend it to everyone.

I love this jacket. It is so comfy and cozy. I burrow my face in the super soft fleece interior of the collar. I'm 5'1", 121 and fit perfectly in the XS.

This coat is wonderfully warm and functional. I particularly love the fleece lined neck and pockets, as well as the two internal pockets (one with zipper, one without). While this isn't the lightest weight of all the coats I considered, I chose it because it provided the most warmth and coverage. I'm so glad I did--with this coat I don't mind waiting for the bus in 10 degree weather! Highly recommended!

Incredibly warm cozy and light! Looking forward to sitting outside next year for cold weather football games!

Treat yourself. Great warm coat even with wind without being too bulky. Love the steel grey.

I have been looking for a warm winter jacket that isn't too puffy and is more fitted. This is perfect and really comfortable. I especially love the soft fleece lining inside!

I looked a lot, at many brands, and this is the best design out there: cuffs, collar, pockets, quality zipper, and both stylish and warmly functional. The only improvements would be a nicer brown and grey, and how about a real colour or two? This coat will help me survive a Wisconsin winter!

I just got this coat and I love it! This coat is very well designed and the details are very well thought out. It's cute and not too bulky. The fleece fabric for the lining, pockets, and cuffs are super soft. There's inner pockets-one that zips and one that doesn't. The hand warmer pockets zip closed, too. As if there weren't enough zippers, the hood and fur lining can also be zipped off. I especially like the velcro detail and the pull ties at the base of the hood to keep the hood snug. Lastly, I appreciate that Marmot provides the down fill rating so that I know this coat will keep me warm on those frigid New England winter nights. I'm extremely happy with this coat.

Love this coat very warm. Beware if you're even a slightly chestier woman, the bust area tends to fit smaller, even if it fits quite well in the shoulders, waist and hips.
