Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M2 shells are the ideal balance between weather resistance, breathability and thermal protection. They are appropriate for a wide range of aerobic use in moderate to cold conditions.

This jacket is beautiful. I prefer a more tailored fit to my clothing, and this satisfies a balance between sporty and elegant. It is a medium weight jacket which I think is just right for a brisk fall morning and mild winter weather. Not bulky at all. The faux fur is a luxurious touch, smooth and good quality--it doesn't appear to be the type to matte down the road with proper care. I have the Turtle Dove color and when I purchased it, already I received compliments from the cashiers checking me out --I think they were hoping it would stay on the rack for them to purchase themselves = ). This is my first purchase from Marmot, but it will not be the last!

I recently purchased this jacket in turtle dove. It is so pretty and great - great fit, i am 5'9" and slender, and the arms and torso are long enough and very flattering, i highly recommend this jacket! ! i love you marmot for making this jacket!

Just purchased this jacket in black and am pleased. Comfy and sleek with nice long sleeves. The hood lining has an elegant feel. Great for early winter.

I just purchased the Furlong Jacket in Turtle Dove and absolutely love this jacket. The sleeves are nice and long and it fits wonderfully. Its very functional and I also purchased a marmot precip jacket to layer over the top. Both jackets are wonderful and will make any hiking trip more comfortable.

I am a very difficult fit-especially in outdoor clothing, which is usually extremely boxy on me. I tried on many jackets searching for something "long and lean." (I am small-boned and long-waisted-5'6" and 113lbs.) I really like this jacket- it does not fit me like a box, is lightweight and packable, and very attractive. I plan on travelling with it. This is also my first Marmot purchase. I hope to see more of this type of feminine design and fit. Thanks!
