Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M3 shells are the most breathable in the M-series. They are best for high aerobic use in mild conditions.

Care Instructions
Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex® fabric products, MemBrain® fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

That looks a really neat jekact, I'm still in my buffalo shirt but my wife is complaining that it's tatty and wants me to get something that doesn't make me look like Soctt of the Antarctic when we're having a pub meal after walking etc.Judging by your review, looks like softshell could be the way to go reasonably cheap too. My wife will be greatful to you for you review so thanks for that
