Marmot MemBrain®
MemBrain® fabric balances the best performance in waterproof, breathable fabric with excellent durability.
MemBrain® reduces internal condensation while increasing comfort by reducing the chilling effect caused by condensation build-up.
When used with insulated garments or sleeping bags, MemBrain® protects the insulation from harsh weather conditions.

DriClime
DriClime® Moisture Management Technology is a family of uniquely plaited bi-component knit fabrics engineered to mechanically draw moisture away from your skin to keep you dry, warm and comfortable.
The key to DriClime is 3-Dimensional Wicking. As moisture moves from the inner fabric touching your skin to the outer fabric, it spreads out across the outer fabric to speed the drying process. DriClime never stops working; it continually passes moisture through to the outer surface for fast evaporation. It is not a finish that washes or wears out; it works forever.
DriClime technology is available in a wide range of products: shelled microclimate layers, base layer, gloves, sleeping bags and backpacks.

My hands run hot so I use these pretty much year round for snowboarding. Overall, I am pleased with them. They are very durable, the full wrap leather at the fingertips greatly improves wear life. Great comfort and dexterity. A bit of waterproofing for the leather and these resist everything but the rain or heavy slush. The last revision of the spring gloves were very similar to these and my favorite gloves of all time. These are a bit warmer, which is bad in my case and have some terrible velcro at the wrist closure. The loop side of the is falling apart and is pretty much unusable now, though the rest of the gloves are in great shape.

I have used these gloves a 2 seasons now for climbing, cycling and skiing. I couldn't be happier. They are indeed quite waterproof and offer a good amount of dexterity while handling ropes, axes and handlebars (nothing beats leather). In weather under 0F I would recommend a mitt to go over the top as lining material does provide some warmth but not enough for such cold temps (especially when you stop to take a break). When working up sweat going up a slope my hands stay dry too as the gloves wick pretty well. I used them this last year for Seattle bike commuting in the rain (my first year with >5,000 miles!) and never had cold hands at the end of a ride. This is really my go-to glove for all waterproofing-required and cold weather cardio activities.
