Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex® fabric products, MemBrain® fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

great jacket, a couple of hikes to Mt. Washington and the Whites. Just come back from Kilimanjaro and breathability is great from the base camp to the summit.

Is the Spire a heavier version of the Exum jacket with an added powder skirt?
What's the added weight besides the powder skirt?

Great jacket, comfortable and breathable. Love the feeling of Performance Shell over Pro Shell. Angel-Wing Movement could be improved as the jacket do ride up. PitZips could be longer. And the jacket center Back Length could use at least 2 inches more. Love the color Eclipse/Peacoat. It' essentially the Troll Wall jacket in performance shell version. A bit hotter than Pro shell. Lots of room for layering. The sizes are meant for layering so if you plan on wearing this jacket without isolation. go for one size smaller.

What a fantastic jacket! The collar makes others jealous when the wind picks up. The only thing it lacks is a decent map pocket for a uk map.

Great shell, waterproof, windproof, and excellent hood design to fit over climbing helmet. Repelled snow on 2 trips up Rainier this year. I'm 6'4'', 195 lbs, and XL fits me great with plenty of room to layer underneath.

Received this jacket through warranty replacement and so far it rocks..Storm hood and collar will take some time to get used to but when it is dumping it will be great feature that my previous Marmot didnt have. Very easy to layer under including light weight down jacket...Highly recommend jacket especially with price .
