The safety orange interior fabric is great for locating your gear in low light conditions. The size of the exterior pocket is a bonus. My only complaint is that the pack narrows at the bottom and the waist strap attachments dig into the base of my low back. I am thinking about just cutting them off and going sans waist strap but they don't seem to bother my wife the same way so I may be overruled.
