Do you not make a Gortex Pro pant to go with the Speed Light jacket?
The only Gortex pant listed on your website is PacLite...
on 3/21/12.
We do make a GORE-TEX® Pro Shell pant, but only during the Fall/Winter season. Click here to view the Alpinist Pant. Some dealers still have a few in stock from last season. Or visit our Local Retailer Locator to find one near you.

I have a Troll Wall jacket that is my favorite piece of clothing. It looks like you stopped making it? Please tell me I'm wrong. If so, what did you replace it with?
on 6/20/12.
If you actually type in Troll Wall Jacket into the bar at the top it's product page should come up, and you can click the buy now button and it is available now at 7 different of our online retailers, depending on the size and color that you want.

How does this jacket compare to the Zion jacket?
on 6/4/12.
These are both high-end, fully waterproof mountaineering jackets. The Speed Light is a GORE-TEX waterproof shell, light weight but durable. The Zion is the first waterproof softshell, which has a bit more thermal protection, as well as four-way stretch.

I purchased this jacket over the North Face Alpine Project Jacket. It was a tough call, but this jacket is lighter and has a better fit. I especially like the drop hem in the back for wet days on the bike. I am 5'7" and about 150lbs, and the medium fits well. I especially like the fit in the shoulders, and the sleeve length allows freedom of movement without exposure to the wind or rain. In addition, while this jacket has an alpine fit, there is still plenty of room for layering. I can comfortably fit my Zues jacket or even my North Face Plasma Thermal jacket underneath for unparalleled warmth.
The breathability of this jacket is excellent. I've used it hiking and cycling in temps ranging from the mid 40s to mid 70s. The pit zips are a wonderful addition, as not all rain shells include them. There is no mesh lining for the pockets however, so don't count on using them for ventilation.
In addition to breathability, this jacket is truly waterproof. It has kept me dry while backpacking in a steady rain and while cycling in heavy wind and rain. The hood fits well also. The cinch cord in the back draws the hood close to your head, which keeps your periphereal vision clear (an important aspect in cycling safely in traffic). The material is incredibly versatile and dries quickly after a good rain.
Overall, I rate this jacke at the top regarding weight, fit, breathability, and waterproofness. It looks great as well. On a final note, keep in mind this is simply a shell. There is no insulating properties to this jacket at all as some may assume given the price point. What you're paying for is the comfort, reliability, and versality of the 3L Gor-tex, which is money well spent if you spend a lot of time outdoors.

Does it have a powder skirt?
on 6/4/12.
This jacket does not have a powder skirt, reducing weight. It is not intended for skiing, it’s designed for mountaineering, climbing, hiking and backpacking.

I need rainproof jacket for golf for fall. I have to believe it will give you full range of motion golfing. Anyone have any experience golfing with this jacket or one like it?
on 6/11/12.
This jacket has Angel-wing movement, which is a technology that allows for full range of motion. Any of the jackets that has this feature listed should give you that full range of motion.

I want to buy a jacket to use as hiking raingear for spring, summer, fall, but I also want to use it for early and late season skiing. I like the Speedlite, and the Minimalist. Any suggestions?
