Reviews and comments

Curly mentions that the Pulsar 2P Tent from Marmot uses an "1800 millimeter Polyurethane coating on the rain fly" and "a 3000 millimeter Polyurethane coating on the floor". Seems awfully thick to me! Perhaps Curley meant to say micrometer instead of millimeter?

The mm (millimeter) rating is an international standard for measuring the waterproofness of the fabric coating. For example, a 1800mm coating will support a 1800mm tall column of water for a designated period of time before a drop might begin to seep through the fabric. That is tough enough to prevent water leaks during a hurricane.
