Experience Life July/Aug 2007 Kompressor Pack

Great Gear to Help You Explore New Territories

Perfect for day-trippers, climbers and light packers, this featherweight nylon pack has three points of compression and a hydration sleeve. It stows neatly into its own lid, the foam back sheet is removable, and mesh shoulder pads help keep things light and cool. A very packable extra bag if you expect to venture out while traveling on business.

Transcription: Hey, this is Kevin, we’re out in Bishop and I just want to show you the Kompressor Pack real quick. Super light, typically a summit pack but I don’t like the cold so I like to use it when I’m out running or climbing, bouldering. Super compressible. My favorite feature – super light. You can always stuff at least one more thing down in there. You can always cinch it down. It’s got three compression straps, get it nice and small and compact, good to go. Check it out.

Reviews and comments

Great pack and great concept. Used mine as a stuff sack for my arroyo sleeping bag last year on a seventy mile sonora pass to Tahoe hike. saved weight and when we went on side trips was very convenient.

Was large enough for lunch water and a few extra layers. But was light enough to take along on the trip. An ordinary day pack would have been way too heavy to even consider dragging along.

Thanks again Marmot

This is by far the most versatile pack I have ever owned. Mine is literally falling apart at the seams after 4 years of almost daily use. I take it on day hikes, to music festivals, and on my solo trip around New Zealand. My favorite part about this pack is it's ability to carry a bladder system apart from the rest of your gear and right against your back. It keeps you cool in the summer time. I wish you'd come back with the forest green color so I can buy another!

NICE ! Very compressible too! And so funny :)
