M2
Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M2 shells are the ideal balance between weather resistance, breathability and thermal protection. They are appropriate for a wide range of aerobic use in moderate to cold conditions.

PolarTec® Power Shield®
Power Shield® technology utilizes a perforated membrane that can control the amount of wind resistance and air permeability. The key to Power Shield® fabric is that the perforated membrane allows a wider range of comfort in aerobic and sweaty conditions. Power Shield O2® is more air permeable, making it ideal in the backcountry, (Fall 2010 only).

This Jacket is amazing. Great fit, great fabric. Angel wing works perfect. Very warm and highly water resistant.( In really cold temperatures you will need a midlayer. If you are looking for an alpine piece this is it.
The only problem I front water tight zipper is that the front zipper is a little bit stiff, I hope marmot correct this in the future but keep the rest of the jacket as it is .
Great investment.

I was wondering about sizing (medium or large?). I am 5'11", 165 lbs, athletic build. I will be using it on alpine climbs. I would like to be able to both layer and wear with a T-shirt but I don't want it to be baggy on me. Suggestions?

It sounds like the Large would be perfect.
You can also find a local store to try one on with your particular layering:

How does the fit of the Kingpin compare to the ROM? I am 5' 7" and ordered a ROM in small and felt like the ROM was a little to baggy and want tighter fit.
