Care Instructions
Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex® fabric products, MemBrain® fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

I just received the Marmot Gorge Component, so this review will be based on initial impression rather than lasting performance.
This is a beautiful jacket! I originally bought TNF’s Storm Peak Triclimate, but didn’t like the fit or style, so I sent it back. The Marmot Gorge is far superior. I am 5’10’’ - 165 lb., and the medium fits me perfectly. The jacket allows for great movement and breathability. I plan to use this jacket for outdoor winter excursions, as well as my everyday winter coat – which fits the MO of this jacket – rugged yet stylish. The jacket looks great with jeans and snow pants, and just as good with dress slacks and shirt/tie.
You can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of the Gorge. The zipper and interior pockets are all located in ideal places, the liner separates from the shell easier than all other component jackets I have owned, even the waist and hood cinches are of superior quality.
The liner by itself is very warm and looks sharp, and the shell by itself is form fitting and comfortable (not like some other jackets where you’re swimming in the shell if you wear it without the liner).
Overall, I am very pleased with the fit, form, and function of this jacket, and look forward to getting years of use out it!

Ношу неделю, и если бы не бренд то многое бы можно было простить:
+карманов много, документы+кошелек есть много вариантов как разместить, но для других вещей нехватает (см. ниже).
+легкая, эргономичная.
+Майка+водолазка+куртка с подкладкой в -30 = до машины свежо), в -20 до магазина скорее дойдешь чем добежишь, в -15 можно бодро(или активно) прогулятся. (со свитером пока не пробовал)
+в машине сидеть удобно, руки двигаются, спина прилегает хорошо, воротник можно растегнуть.
+"подклатка" не чуствуется и органична (кроме нюансов оп. ниже)
+есть большой сетчатый внутренний карман(вход параллельно нагрудным карманам), правда зачем он не понял: перчатки мокры и раздеваться чтобы их туда сунуть не вариант, пока использую под шапку когда захожу в помещение или сдаю в гардероб.
-стоимость.
-мелкая собачка на главной молнии, на всех молниях собачки без "шнурков", в перчатках сложно пользоваться.
-Вентиляция подмышек без сетки, просто дырка, молния мелкая и односторонняя(где хваленые "PitZips™ - двусторонние молнии" ??).
-очень плохо продуманы манжеты рукавов("Регулируемые манжеты Velcro®" - отстой), в том числе утягивающая липучка: плохо крепится (слишком узкая и жесткая) и постоянно отрывается цепляясь за все попало (неудачное расположение)
-все три молнии (2 подстежка+1 основная) сходятся к верху, воротник и так жесткий от 3- молний, а тут ещё 3 собачки, при чем 2 из них большие двусторонние (почему такого же размера нельзя было основную молнию сделать..): приходится задирать голову к звездам и спотыкаться.
-нет кармана под плеер, скайпасс(люблю его использовать под мелочь и ключи).
-неудобно пользоваться юбкой при пристегнутой "подкладке": утяжка "подкладки" на одной линии с резинкой юбки или чуть выше утяжки..
-перчатки ни пристегнуть ни сунуть в карманы.. выход пока вижу один - брать вязанные, но они не всепогодные.
