I love this tent. It is the perfect size for 2 people. Having dual vestibules makes it great for keeping our gear dry and seperated. We have had no problems with condensation inside the tent. There has been some on the inside of the fly but it was not excessive. Also we don't have to crawl over each other to exit or enter. The material is top notch and the reflective marking on the tent make it easy to see and keep from triping on. Also the skylights are a nice add for seeing how light it is outside when you wake up. Another great point is that it already comes with a footprint which is a great savings and allows for minimalist camping if desired. Thanks Marmot for a great product.

This tent is the best!!!

i loves this tent

Well this tent is a killer, had mine about a couple of years now, here in the UK used it in gale force wind's driving rain in Scotland and Wales all so on the beach no worries, only one small issue which is nothing really, the fly sheet sit's a bit off the ground, its easy to pitch see it a country mile away, all in all a great tent

I camp about once a month with as an assistant scoutleader for a Boy Scout troop - this tent is AWESOME - sets up quickly & easily, has LOTS of great features (the double doors and vestibules are a great idea!) The reviewer above didn't miss much ... maybe just the little gear pockets inside - just right for eyeglasses and cell phones ... only disappointment was that it was made in China, would've loved it more if it said MADE IN THE USA. Are you listening Marmot??

Great tent for summer. The mesh inner is too cold for winter.

I used this tent on my first backpacking trip and it was great.

Easy to setup and take down.

I even played around with the minimal configuration of fly, ground cloth and poles. Has anyone else used it this way? Saves about 32 oz on pack weight.

Anyone know how the minimal setup handles in wet weather and bugs?

I have had this tent for about four years. I have survived two nasty hail storms and lots of rain, including one where I ended up in a low spot sitting in about an inch of water. Not a drop inside the tent. Very easy to set up, nice and light, and the two vestibules are great for storing gear. I would not hesitate to recommend this tent.

This is an amazing tent, Got it for a late fall camping trip into the mountains, and I have to say that I could not have been more satisfied with it.
It rained the entire trip, the wind was really bad the second night, I was the only one using the tent, it was big enough to bring in my insulating layers out of the rain...but small enough that I could keep it warm with my body heat, there was absolutely no condensation in the tent, there was no water in the tent and it didn't budge in the wind(compared to my friend's....his almost blew away) it sloughs off all rain and snow and is nice and comfy.

THIS TENT IS THE BOMB!!!!!

This tent is outstanding! I did a lot of tent searching before I purchased my Earlylight tent and I could'nt be happier with it. As a Marine I too was disapointed that the tent was made in china and I for one would have gladly paid more for the tent if it were made in the USA! I used my Earlylight 2p for the first time this past weekend on a 36 mile 2 day hike. The weight of the tent and the space it takes up in my pack were more than acceptable and if you split the Tent, Poles, Fly, and Print between two people you hardly notice it's in there! We experienced wind gusts of 30+kts with heavy rain overnight and the tent stood it's ground all night with ease. Also no condensation or ventilation issues. I am 5'9'' 160lbs and shared the tent with my wife (5'2" 120lbs) and never felt cramped for space. Great tent. Let's build them in the States!!!!!

Bought this tent in New Zealand while traveling a few years ago. A tent pole broke on my tent and it was almost the same price to buy this guy as fix the pole. Decided to splurge.

No regrets! This tent is quite snug for 2 if you're not on good terms with your tent mate. Makes a perfect roomy 1 person tent with loads of space for all your gear. Because it isn't quite symmetrical you have to figure out the right way to fit the fly to the tent, which can be a pain if you're like me and don't set the tent up all that often. It's quite light weight, built pretty solid, and has withstood some serious downpours.

All around for the price it's an excellent tent. But if you like a bit more space for yourself and your gear, get the 3 person version.

Outstanding price-performance ratio! I used this tent in a rather extrem variaty of conditions. Starting without the fly at a summer lake during a warm night and ending at over 4500 meters in the Andes for a couple of nights. From extrem winds to loads of snow I can say that I was surprised by the sturdiness of this tent. The only disadvantage I encountered so far is that the fly ends a bit too high over groundlevel. Which is good for ventilation but bad for insulation. Main advantage for myself is the light weight. Can't say much about heavy rainfall though.

I recently received this tent as a gift and am totally excited about using it for the first time. It set up easily right out of the bag. The features and price of the early light are what sold me in the first place. I really am pleased that this tent comes with two very usable/almost essential accessories( the gear loft and foot print). MARMOT has done an awesome job with this whole package.
