Fire It Up
Fleece is a magical fabric, with high insulatory capabilities, light weight, and otherworldly softness…the good fleece, anyway, like that of the Marmot Bonfire Hoody, a perfect piece of clothing to wear while climbing, at the camp fire, on a chilly approach, or even to dinner. The tweed-textured pattern of the fleece adds distinction and style, the hood and kangaroo pockets are nice when the wind starts kicking, and the small upper-arm pocket is good for those li’l things like nail clippers, which you always forget.

Nice fit except for sleeve length which I found very short. Combined with an open cuff design, made for chilly wrists/lower arms. Next size up would have been overly large.

This is by far my most favorite hoody on the market. Its warm, but not bulky. The design has clean lines and fits well. The fleece tweed is soft, but very durable. Its great to wear as a mid-layer.
