Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M2 shells are the ideal balance between weather resistance, breathability and thermal protection. They are appropriate for a wide range of aerobic use in moderate to cold conditions.

Care Instructions
Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex® fabric products, MemBrain® fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

This jacket is everything you could ever want in a softshell: impeccable fit, very breathable and water proof, slightly stretchy yet durable, high quality construction, all at a great price. Better than any other brand I've looked at and I've been searching a long time. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Marmot for doing such a great job!

Just bought this jacket last week. I live in the mountains in NC so this is perfect for our winters here. You can wear this jacket in most conditions and it looks good both casual and when dressed up for the office. I'm very glad that I got it and I'll be buying Marmot for life!

Luckily found one of these at a TJMax store for 50% off. Being a gear junkie, I bought it, even thought I definitely don't need it.
In comparing it to my Arcteryx Easyrider softshell, this is actually better quality and a way better fit. It even feels warmer even though it has a lighter fleece lining.
This is a great deal on a great softshell.

Layer this beauty with a thermal base layer and your good for high 40's. Add a furry fleece and your good for freezing weather! Light weight, breathable, and easy to move in. I love this jacket and its ease of layering with other high tech fabrics. Feels like...Freedom of Movement. Simply Awesome!
