Marmot M-series fabrics are designed for moving light and fast. They combine stretchable, water repellent, abrasion resistant and highly breathable shell materials with insulating buffer materials on the inside.
M1 shells provide the highest level of warmth and thermal protection. They are best for intermittent aerobic use in cold conditions.

I'm a college student in Boston, MA. I had this jacket as a hand-me-down from my father for my entire freshman year. I loved it!!! Not only did it look sharp, it also protected very well against the New England winters. The only reason I do not use it any longer, is because it was stolen at a party last year. I have never missed an article of clothing so much. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants warmth, without sacrificing looks. Great buy! I'm hoping I can convince my parents to purchase me a new one this Christmas. A+ Product!

Unlike the above reviewer my jacket was not stolen and I still own it :) It is veeery warm, yet thin, so very useful for wearing around town on cold nights. I give 4 and a half stars, I'll call it a 4.
