Professional Guide Mike Alkatis Reviews the Scree Pant

Mike Alkatis of the Colorado Mountain School reviews the Scree Pant.

TRANSCRIPT:

Hi, Mike Alkatis here of the Colorado Mountain School. We’re at Red Mountain Pass, next to McMillan Peak over there and Red #3 right there. We’re on a little guide’s training, and I’m wearing my trusty Scree Pants from Marmot. I really like them for ski touring; they’re lightweight, soft shell, breathe super well for when I’m aerobic, also keep the snow out. They have nice zippered pockets so I can put stuff in there – keep it safe and sound. Like what’s in this pocket … I think I have my iPod in here, you know; and I have my beacon in the side pocket right here. It zips as well – it’s key to have a zipped one if you’re going to put your beacon in there. Otherwise it might fall out, that’d be no good. And they also have this nice little feature where if you don’t have ski boots on you can zip this shut and it’s tighter. But with ski boots, you can unzip it, keep it over your ski boots. And … those are the things I like about the Scree Pant.

Nice Marmot.
