Luanne Freer of EverestER reviews the Women's Flurry Glove
Women's Flurry Glove review by Luanne Freer of EverestER.
Hiking in the hills around Montana in the winter, you never know what you’ll find. Elk, moose, deer are common sightings. We breathe a little easier on the trail in the winter here, knowing the bears are fast asleep, denned away, so the food chain gets a little less threatening. Check that … what’s that track off to the left? Big, round, no claw marks, tail dragging in the snow? GULP! What you see right beside my Marmot women’s Flurry Glove is a mountain lion track. So although your hands will stay toasty warm in the Flurry’s GORE-TEX® Waterproof/breathable glove insert with high loft fleece lining (what’s better than that genius nose wipe fabric too?) … your heart may run cold when you can’t get over the feeling of being watched …Love the gloves, though, for those super cold days nothing beats them … especially when running full speed back to the trail head and the safety of the car!
