KEVIN JORGESON COMPLETES FIRST ASCENT OF BISHOP BOULDER

November 3, 2007 – Marmot athlete Kevin Jorgeson completed the first-ever ascent of Footprints (V9), a forty-foot bouldering problem just outside of Bishop, CA. Jorgeson climbed highball boulder without use of ropes or belayers, marking it his first successful “solo” achievement as well.

Jorgeson has several other First Ascents to his credit including Flight of the Bumblebee (V9) and The Beautiful and the Damned (V13), and earlier this year completed the Third Ascent of Ode to the Modern Man (V13).
