I have a Nyx 2P also and love it--the color is wonderful, especially on rainy days, and the window is great to decrease cabin fever and to check the weather. I use it without the tent sometimes in Big Bend to save weight (just the fly with poles).
QUESTION: my fly has become "sticky" on the inside--like the silicone is not dry. I sprinkled it with baby powder to roll it up today, but I'm worried it has lost its water-shedding ability.
Anyone else experienced this? This ocurred after a very hot summer--it was rolled up and kept in our garden shed for a couple of months. But this doesn't seem quite right for a quality tent fly--any ideas ??
thanks!
